米国の Project Management Institute （PMI）が 7 月 24 、25 日に「Disaster Recovery Symposium（震災復興シンポジウム）」というオンラインシンポジウムを開催し、全世界（アメリカ、カナダ、ヨーロッパ、南米、オーストラリアなど）から、プロジェクトマネジメントや震災復興に関心のある 100 名以上の方々が参加しました。

シンポジウム 2 日目の 25 日には、iSPP 代表理事である会津が登壇し、「ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) challenges for post‐disaster activities in Japan（ICT による震災復興へ向けた挑戦）」と題する講演を行いました。
